Here’s a fantastic opportunity to help support us in our construction of this cool little park at the bottom of world-famous Cry Baby Hill, and at the same time immortalize your family or local business (or both)!

Take a look at this flyer, tell all your neighbors who might not have seen it yet, and get in touch via the email address on the flier to order your pavers before they’re gone. This is a great cause and we need all the support we can get!

Our May open meeting continues our roadshow with the third stop at Boulder Towers. Come and meet some of our neighbors from that great building. Guests from Tulsa Tough and Tulsa Preservation will be on hand to discuss the upcoming races and a potential historic homes tour in Riverview.

Special treat tonight: we are meeting at the Sophian Plaza apartments and hope to see a bunch of our neighbors from that building. Maybe we’ll even have refreshments. On the calendar at Nextdoor.com with an agenda overview. Come one come all!

6:30pm, The Sophian
All neighbors are invited

Our open meeting this month will be on Wednesday instead of Tuesday (scheduling conflict at Baxter’s). All neighbors are welcome. Hope to see everyone there.

Our final open meeting of the year is also our traditional party and pot luck at the world-famous Spotlight Theater! All neighbors are welcome. We’ll have a short year-end recap meeting and open nominations for 2016 officers and Board. Much has happened this year, so if you’ve missed a meeting or two we’ll catch everyone up.

Drinks will be provided, but feel free to bring a tasty snack to share. We will also be collecting small wrapped toys that will be delivered to Toys for Tots and donated to some very appreciative kids this Christmas.

This year’s Riverview Block Party is just around the corner! If you were there for last year’s, you know know what a fantastic time it was. And if you weren’t, don’t miss another one!

Live music, Bake Sale, Live auction, raffle, delicious food, kids activities, and cash bar. More details to follow, so watch this space. This year we are raising money to help fund our development of Cry Baby Plaza, our own tiny park at the bottom of Cry Baby Hill to commemorate our great neighborhood and the world-famous Tulsa Tough bike races. More details and complete schedule on the 2015 Block Party page.

From the Nextdoor Partnership Team:

The City of Tulsa and Nextdoor

We are excited to announce that the City of Tulsa will use Nextdoor to provide important information to neighborhoods across the city. As part of this effort, you may see periodic updates from various city departments on Nextdoor Riverview. The purpose of these updates is to share alerts, news, and other notifications that are relevant to your neighborhood. It’s important to note that city staff can only see their own posts and replies to these posts. They will NOT be able to access or view any information that you and your neighbors have shared on Nextdoor Riverview. Communicating with city staff is entirely voluntary, and you can see more information here.
